The Committee for the funeral in San Francisco in 1923 had already submitted the proposal for a monument in memory of the great saint and patron saint of Italy. S ulla front of the monument is the inscription, on the other sides are the verses of the eleventh canto of the Paradiso Divine Comedy, Dante Alighieri describes in which the figure of the saint.
